Toronto, ON – Pinpoint Capital Advisors (Pinpoint) acted as exclusive financial advisor to Computer Techniques Inc (CTI Fiber) on the sale of the business to Joink LLC (Joink), a DIF CIF II portfolio company owned by DIF Capital Partners. Under the agreement, Joink will acquire 100% of CTI Fiber, an Illinois-based fiber optics business and plans to boost CTI’s Fiber’s fiber-to-the-home deployment in Central Illinois.
Pinpoint worked closely with senior management of CTI Fiber including co-founders Adam Vocks and Billy Williams on the successful transaction. Founded in 1998, CTI Fiber has transformed from a computer sales and service business into a facilities-based provider that now exclusively services its connectivity customers with fiber optics. The CTI Fiber network passes over 12,000 homes across Christian County and Montgomery County, supported by staff from its offices in Taylorville and Hillsboro in Illinois. CTI Fiber provides internet, voice, and video to residential customers and internet, voice, and private transport data solutions to business customers.
